Does it deliver?
Tranquil atmosphere and a good breakfast with a polite staff. The onsen was open all night.
Despite the charm, the facilities showed signs of age with some cleaning issues. A tear in my blanket was quite off-putting and disrupted my comfort.

Staff were good, breakfast was delicious. The location was secluded, fantastic away in the mountains. Further, it was near bus stop, and nearby tourist sites: D

The hotel was a relaxing base for enjoying a very quiet area, close enough to nearby tourist sites and river and forest and the public areas. It was surely a really great stay in winter time.
